Day 55

Mark Bradshaw gave a report on Aston Villa's 17-year-old striker Michael Drennan. Looks like he'll be a great player in a few years, but he isn't one now. I won't be pursuing him any further.

Bradshaw also updated me on his UK & Ireland roaming assignment. None of the five newly recommended players are worth serious scouting.

That was it for this lazy Sunday. For once I welcomed the dull quiet of nothingness—we all need a break from football every now and then, and today I had other things to do. [In actuality, I spent half the day writing non-FMblog articles and half the day creating a script to convert RTF documents into ready-to-publish HTML. I want to improve my efficiency and workflow, and that was a major clot.]
