Day 56

The odds are overwhelmingly in our favour for tomorrow's match against Gateshead. A win would extend our unbeaten run to six games—not a bad effort for a squad almost entirely hacked together in the off-season/pre-season.

I'll be watching the attendance figures with interest—it's a fan day, where kids get in at half-price, and we haven't managed even a quarter-filled ground yet.

I'm hoping to go with an unchanged lineup from Saturday's match, but the three-day recovery period might be too much for a couple of players. Olembé, Nutter, and Park are still looking tired. I'll see how they pull up tomorrow before making a decision—there could be a return to the starting eleven for Mali Under 20s star Samba Kanouté.
